10:30-11:30 Risky Business: Results of the 2018 US National Midwives and Liability Survey

Katie is in full-scope midwifery practice in Lynchburg, VA and is the President of the Virginia Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. In this role, she represents the organization on several state committees, including the Maternal Mortality Review Team. She serves ACNM as the national Professional Liability Section Chair that works to understand liability and litigation experience for midwives in the US and provide resources and tools for midwives, as well as advocate for affordable liability insurance and tort reform.
