The Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the ACNM NJ Affiliate, chaired by Linda Lock, recently announced the first meeting of its subdivision Midwives of Color Caucus (MOCC).
Shan Carter and Shay Recalde, the new leaders of the MOCC will be holding a meet and greet geared to new midwives and student midwives of color (all midwives who identify as BIPOC are invited), where they will presenting the objectives of Caucus and assessing the needs of our midwifery community of color. They will also be announcing their new mentorship program.
The Meet and Greet will be held via Zoom on June 17th at 6pm.
